Course Updates ~ Aug 2019

Course Updates Now and For the Upcoming Months

Currently our main goal is to repair the greens due to accidental scalping at the beginning of July.

We’d like to let the membership know the current plan for the areas and the course in general.

  • Thursday, August 22nd the damaged greens (2,3,4,5,7,8,14) were deep tined and rolled to help drain the anticipated rainfall later today.
  • Beginning Monday, August 26th, there will be temporary pins placed in the fairways of those holes until August 29th while feeding the greens with nutrients and giving them time to grow and heal.
  • September 3rd, 4th, 5th, and (possibly) 6th all the greens will be DryJect; holes will be closed as the process is being done and will be ready to play once clean up is complete.
  • Fall Aerification is scheduled for Monday, October 14th (tentatively), following normal scheduling.

All work is of course weather dependent and may be rescheduled accordingly. Look for further updates via email for changes or updates to the above schedule.

(Updated 8/30/19 to include the 3rd for the DryJect)

Update 9/3/19: The front 9 was completed in one day and will be open with temporary holes begining Wed. Sept 4th; the back 9 will be closed Wed 9/4 and Thurs 9/5.
