Ladies Golf News ~ October 2020
The Classic was rescheduled to September 1. Carolyn Morford took first place with a gross 88 and Enis Cassill was the net winner with a 72. Skill prizes were:
- #2 – Closest 2nd Shot – Carolyn Morford
- #9 – Longest 1st Putt – Carolyn Morford
- #11 – Closest to the Hole – JoAn Treskovich
- #14 – Closest to the Line – Cindy Soccio
The 9-hole Classic saw Virginia Funnell win with a gross of 47 and Sherry O’Halloran had the low net of 35. Dottie Lynch took the putting prize with a low of 16 putts.
On September 8, the 18-holers played the Pink Lady. The pink ball rotated among the players on each team, with the pink ball being the score on each hole. The winning team was Cindy Bode, Darlene Elliott, Enis Cassill and Becky DeMuth.
The 9-hole game was Throw Out One Score. Virginia funnel and Dottie Lynch tied for first place.
The remainder of September were no gadget days due to the aeration of the course.
Closing day was moved to October 6. The deadline for signing up in the pro shop is October 3. Teams for the scramble will be set up that Saturday.
