Dear Members,
June was a month to remember where we were back to some normalcy and the weather was beautiful. We had our Opening Day Event that was a big success with 95 participants and a whole lot of fun! We also had our first Buck & Does evening series, crowned a King & Queen and conducted some well-rounded and fun Ladies Clinics.
Below you will see information on new Golf Shop sales, past result winners, upcoming events, upcoming fitting days, reminders, junior golf, and information about the driving range.
Online Golf Shop- The Knaus Special(s)
FootJoy Online Golf Shop
Last month we introduced the FootJoy Online Golf Shop and this month we will introduce the Adidas Online Golf Shop. Below you will see a links to my FootJoy & Adidas Online Golf Shop. The sites will include shoes, apparel and outerwear for Men and Women. On the Adidas site you will also see many options for Youth/Junior items. When you click the link, it will go directly to the site where you will put in the password listed below. You can browse just as you would any other online store, choose your product and check out. All products purchased will receive 20% off and ship directly to the Golf Shop. On the FootJoy website, all apparel will have a logo but with the Adidas, Men will be logoed, and Ladies will not. If you love FootJoy or Adidas, these sites are for you!

- Each hole will be set up as a Par-3 with extravagant prizes. Prizes will include a trip for four to the 2021 Masters, Trip to St. Andrews & Bay Hill, Trip to Las Vegas, $5,000, $10,000 & more!
- Food, Skill Prizes, Skins, and a Foursome Event will be included as well
- $65 per player- Members may bring (1) Guest

Bucks & Does Evening Couples Events
The first Bucks & Does event was a success with 20 participants and a whole lot of fun! You may bring a Guest for $25 and Social Members can attend. This does not go towards Social Members (2) times a month play allowance.
The next evening event will be on Thursday, July 9. Sign-up in the Golf Shop
Golf Shop Match Play Events
The Golf Shop Match Play events have started and round 1 must be completed by Sunday, July 5. There will be a one-week extension if needed. If the match is still completed, there will be a date and time made. Whoever shows up for that tee time will move onto the next round.
Upcoming Fitting Days, Lessons, Exchange Days, Events & Clinics
Upcoming Fitting Days
- Tuesday, July 7 (3 to 7 PM)- Callaway (Putter & Club Fittings available)
- Tuesday, July 21 (3 to 7 PM)- PXG
-Each fitting day will have (8) spots to be custom fit. If you have not been custom fit, you could be costing yourself strokes as no one’s swing is the same.
Lessons
Jesse and I are in full swing with lessons and would love to better your game in 2020. One of my favorite quotes from Jack Nicklaus, “Confidence is the most important single factor in this game, and no matter how great your talent, there is only one way to obtain it- work.”

Ladies Only Golf Clinics
Ladies clinics were highly attended in June and we hope the same for July! Each clinic will be from 5:30 to 6:30 PM and focus on different facets of the game. Please call the Golf Shop to sign-up as there will be limited spots available. Dates for Ladies Clinics are as follows:
(Wednesdays) July 1, 8, 15 & 22
Exchange Days
We have some exchange days on the books with a few more hopefully to come. If you would like to play on the days listed below, you may call each course to make a tee time or we will happily do it for you. The fee to play will be $20.

- Glengary Golf Links- Tuesday, July 14
- Latrobe Elks Golf Club- Thursday, July 16
- Donegal Highlands- Tuesday, August 11
Driving Range
The driving range is open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:30am to 7:30pm, weather dependent. The Range will open at 9:30am on Thursdays and close at 7:30pm. Yearly range passes are available for $125 or you may purchase per bag for $5. The Range will close at 445 pm on Wednesday and 5 pm on Sunday nights to thoroughly clean pick the range for mowing the next day. Range balls/bags will be in the Golf Shop only. Please see below for proper divot pattern while on the range.
Please refrain from using a club you hit longer than 200 yards
Junior Golf
Ligonier’s Junior Golf program will start on Tuesday, June 30. We will have our first Tuesday Clinic with a Play Day to follow on Friday, July 3. The Tee Sheet will be blocked off on Fridays from 8:30am to 10:30 am to allow for this program. We will also have a (3) Day Camp, Pro-junior scramble and a Junior Nite-Lite event with glow-in-the-dark golf balls.

Hole-In-One Club
The Hole-In-One club has started but you may still sign up for your chance to win ($10 entry). All sign-ups from 2019 have rolled over into this year leaving over $800 in prizes. The first person to have a hole-in-one will receive the pot (half cash, half Golf Shop credit.) New for this year, if you have a hole-in-one and are in the club, you will receive a plaque with all the information on it. Once someone has a hole-in-one, everyone in the club will have their account billed for the next chance to win.
